Jyoti Sagar, a graduate in both Law and Economics from Delhi University, and a top up from Wharton Business School, University of Pennsylvania in ‘Mergers & Acquisition Programme’, is one of India’s top legal luminary. He founded two of India’s top law firms, Jyoti Sagar Associates (JSA) and K&S Partners who together have over 400 lawyers.
He has extensive experience in intellectual property, technology transfers, foreign investment and joint ventures, along with mergers & acquisitions. He has worked on several policy issues and has been associated with various committees of the Government of India and Chambers of Commerce.
He is currently serving as the Co-Chair – IPR Committee of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI).
S Chandrasekhar, in his 32 years of career, has a unique combination of experience in both Government and the Corporate sector. He played important roles in government and in leading private organisations; served initial 15 years as a bureaucrat in Government of India, including a stint in Singapore as a diplomat. Later, he worked for IT bigwigs like TCS, IBM and HCL. He was Principal Consultant to Ministry of External Affairs, GOI responsible for the rollout of India’s Passport Seva Project. He is deeply into Information Technology and dealt with it as a procurer in Govt of India, as an OEM (IBM), as a System Integrator (TCS) and as a Vertical Delivery Head (HCL). He was Group Director Government Affairs with Microsoft India for 9 + years until end 2021. His role involved interfacing with external and internal stakeholders driving technology and public policy related initiatives for Microsoft. He is currently MD & CEO of K&S Digiprotect Pvt Ltd. As an acknowledged expert on Technology Law and Policy, he represented the industry before Government on contentious and cutting-edge regulatory issues. A man of diverse talents, Sekhar speaks over 7 languages, has a Degree in Law, an Engineering Degree from Birla Institute of Technology, a PG Diploma in Cyber Law, a PG Diploma in Operations Management and an interpreter degree in Chinese. He is a Lead Auditor and Implementor- ISO-27001 (2022) and is qualified as a Lead Privacy Auditor (DSCI) and Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) by the International Institute of Privacy Professionals (IAPP).
Rakesh Maheshwari is a former Government Officer having worked for more than 35 years in Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) and retired as Sr. Director and Group Coordinator, Cyber Law and data Governance. He had also been Group Co-ordinator Cyber Security and CERT-In in the Ministry. He is an Engineer in Electronics and Comm from Delhi College of Engg. He handled activities related to Information Technology (IT) Act, Cyber Security policies, Social media regulation, Personal data protection Bill, in various capacities including as Group Co-ordinator (GC) Cyber Law, GC Cyber Security, GC for CERT-In, GC for UIDAI and Designated Officer for section 69A of IT Act. He was closely associated with the drafting and implementation of various regulations governing India’s online space.
He has also been involved in the personal data protection Bill along with Sri Krishna Committee and have been involved in some of the JPC discussions after the bill was presented in the parliament in 2019 end. He has also worked on the latest DPDP draft Bill presently under discussion and likely to be introduced in the Parliament shortly. In his long stint of 28 years in STQC directorate, MeitY, he carried out various activities in related to Software Process Improvement (SW-CMM Trainer), quality Management (Certfied Quality Engineer and trainer), Information Security management (ISMS Lead Auditor and trainer), IT and IT enabled Service management and Process improvement relate activities. He has more than 1000 mandays of training and auditing experience. Was also involved in working with BIS on Privacy management Standard development.

Manav Mahajan is a seasoned data security and privacy professional with a distinguished career spanning over seven years. Prior to joining K&S Digiprotect, he founded Disecto, an award-winning data security startup that showcased his visionary approach to protecting sensitive information. He helped organizations in the BFSI, healthcare, insurance and government sectors achieve their privacy goals by delivering them complete automated solutions.
Manav’s expertise extends to advanced privacy-enhancing technologies, including homomorphic encryption, differential privacy, and zero-knowledge proofs, and he has developed patented solutions in these areas. He earned his Master’s degree in Information Security from Eurecom, a leading tech school in France. His research has taken him to prestigious cybersecurity and AI centres worldwide, including DRDO, IIIT Delhi, University of Warwick (UK), and NTU (Singapore).
Amar Singh specializes in information technology and works with computer systems, software, networks, and databases. He designs, develops, implements, and maintains IT solutions to meet the needs of organizations, businesses, and individuals.
As a highly skilled and experienced IT professional, he hold the prestigious ISO 27001 certification, which demonstrates his expertise in implementing and managing information security systems in accordance with international standards. Additionally, his extensive knowledge in networking fundamentals has been validated by the CCNA certification, while his proficiency in IT service management is showcased through the ITIL certification.
His expertise in Microsoft technologies and products is also highlighted by the MCSE, MCP, and MCSA certifications, which demonstrate his ability to design, implement, and maintain complex solutions using these platforms. With these certifications, he bring a comprehensive set of skills and knowledge to any IT role, enabling him to deliver effective solutions that optimize organizational performance and protect sensitive information.
Nikita Bhagat a passionate first generation advocate and an experienced legal researcher with LLM in Criminal Law having 3+ years of experience in the field of law. She worked as a Legal Consultant & inhouse law officer for SHEOWS (NGO). Recently, she has also been certified as a Lead Implementor and Lead Auditor for ISO 27001:2022 Information security Management System and Privacy Lead Assessor by DSCI.
She is currently working as a Senior Manager-Legal in the organisation. She handles legal assignments which includes but are not limited to drafting of Privacy policy, Term of Use, Terms & Conditions, regulatory opinions which also includes reviewing of any legal documents like agreements, MOU’s etc., and conducts Privacy & Security Audits. She is responsible for maintaining client relations and assigning of roles and responsibilities within the team. Further, she works on the matters related to Tech Scam Fraud. She is very spontaneous and has an optimistic personality.
Aman Varma is an experienced tech-lawyer working as Manager – Regulatory Affairs, his work entails examining the efficacy of existing policies on data privacy and providing advisory on new policies, regulations and legislations surrounding privacy law and tech-law. His area of work spans across helping data fiduciaries with data privacy compliances to handling regulatory affairs under telecom, media, and technology law areas.
Experienced as a litigating professional with a demonstrated history of working in the law practice industry with 3 plus years of experience as a legal practitioner. Practiced in civil, criminal, family law matters and appeared in District Courts and the Hon’ble Patna High Court. An alumnus of Christ University, Bangalore, he has publications in arbitration law and intellectual property law and has been an avid debater in college.

Chakshu Purohit has a keen interest in data privacy laws and information security regulatory compliance and currently serves as the Assistant Manager – Privacy & Infotech. Passionate about safeguarding privacy rights and ensuring global compliance with privacy and information security regulations, she is dedicated to upholding the highest standards in this field. A graduate of National Law University, Shimla, with a specialization in business laws, she has a deep understanding of the legal frameworks governing data protection.
Before her current role, Chakshu gained over two years of valuable experience in litigation and contract management, providing her with a well-rounded perspective on legal issues affecting businesses.
