With 35+ years of experience in technology risk management, enterprise architecture, AI enablement, data privacy, information security, governance, and regulatory compliance, Sunil is an ISO 27001 Lead Implementer, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, and DSCI-certified professional. Prior to joining K&S Digiprotect as an Advisor, he worked with IBM and TCS, delivering complex technology and transformation initiatives across Banking, Financial Services, Fintech, Insurance, and Manufacturing. His experience includes integrating ISO 27001 and GDPR requirements into project delivery, as well as implementing NYDFS cybersecurity requirements and SOC 1 Type 2 controls.

He has also been part of internal audit and risk management teams, conducting project risk assessments, evaluating controls, identifying compliance gaps, and supporting remediation and governance initiatives. His current focus spans technology risk management, data privacy, information security, compliance and governance, along with AI risk management and responsible AI adoption, helping organizations manage technology risks and adopt emerging technologies while maintaining appropriate governance and regulatory controls.
